On Friday 7th February, we took part in NSPCC Number Day.
We enjoyed celebrating World Number Day 2025! We all came to school dressed in an item of clothing with a digit on and enjoyed taking part in different maths activities and investigations throughout the day.
During number day, we shared something truly special about the year 2025- it’s a perfect square year! A perfect square is a number that can be expressed as the product of an integer multiplied by itself. For 2025, that integer is 45, as 45 x 45 equals 2025. Isn’t that fascinating?
During number day, we also took part in a Times Tables Rockstars competition ‘NSPCC Rocks’
Thank you to everyone who took part and supported this important cause. It was a day full of learning, laughter and, of course, lots of numbers!
